I am not Chabad
Naturally. If you're a Happyguy, you must be Breslov.

I have a friend who stayed in a Chabad persons house for Shabbos Chol Hamoed Sukkos. The guy told let him stay there on the condition that he wouldn't sleep in the Sukka.
I also heard that a Lubavitcher might make you keep P"Y and C"Y in his house and not decorate his sukkah. Not sure what your point is. His house, his rules.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I'm almost certain there are missing details in this scenario

I also heard that a Lubavitcher might make you keep P"Y and C"Y in his house and not decorate his sukkah. Not sure what your point is. His house, his rules.

It's not quite the same.

It's not and I wouldn't make such a rule personally.
But you can't compare someone making a rule about his house to what someone else should do on a day to day basis.

I'm guessing he didn't have decorations in his sukka either

This story is so absurd that I don't even believe it. Sleeping in the Sukkah is a doryasa and in clear mishnayos without any cholek. During the generations people adopted leniencies and there's various limudei zchus in the major Achronim - cold,  איש ואשתו etc. In Lubavitch the obvious reason was that sleeping in the Russian cold was likely Sakunes Nefoshes, and naturally there were given simuchin for it al pi pnimius  too. But to host someone on the condition of not sleeping in the sukkah is beyond absurd, I don't believe it actually happened.

No, regular. I also let them put on Tefilin, keep shabbos, and to sleep in the sukkah.

On chol hamoed?
Was actually talking of year round. But me personally would have no problem if an askenazi non chassid wants the follow the Ikar halacha like the Rema paskens. I would even lend him mine.

Negative. Chabad not sleeping has nothing to do with the cold (afaik)

It's minhag Chabad to make football watching parties in the sukkah on chol Hamoed Sundays. I mean I'm sure I can find a Lubavitcher who did it, so...
