Def! have farbrenged and and sat in his shiurim many times, not so much recently. He is someone I would take my kids to, to see what a tzadik is. AFAIK he is more popular in the מעיני ישראל chasidish chabad community than in the mainstream chabad establishment. I have heard some chabadniks being derogatory of him, saying he isn't sharp enough and some other stupid things like that.

For many years he was a מגיד שיעור in ישיבת תורת אמת, a mainstream Chabad Yeshiva. I think now he's much busier and he gives a Shiur to the whole Yeshiva once a week or something.

He gives Tanya every morning at כולל צמח צדק in the old city in addition to many other regular shiurim and farbrengen.

I davened with him during COVID first year… spoke with him a lot and became very close. Nothing to do with Lubavitch although we did learn Chasidos once he was less scared from COVID. I was just wondering what he has with Lubavitch so thanks for the answers

He has a son who is a Shliach in Petach Tikva, and IINM one or two in Eastern Europe and at least one somewhere in Russia or some other former Soviet republic. One of his grandsons was chavrusa with one of my sons in Tzfas several years ago.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Why is the Ohel open to the sky? Making it actually not an Ohel.

So that Kohanim can visit?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Isnt it too close (within 4 Amos of a grave)? I was wondering about that too.

If you wanna go that way you have to say that’s why there is a gate down the path from the tent and kivrei tzadkim Einoi metamim.

The grave has a concrete wall making it separate?

And when the boxes ran out, a circle of the first 4 guys you could grab who were heading in the direction you needed to go.

Or when we went with a whole class with school, and the rest of the class would encircle the Kohanim holding while holding hands and we'd walk that way.

Good times...
