To help people with tefillin, explain the customs and "procedures", answer questions like "why are you here?" from you or "is there a specific prayer to say?" "why are there crocs and candles?" etc.

ETA: it would appear you aren't familiar with who is found at the ohel. Every type of person, Jew and non Jew.

Someone PM'd the same. The Rebbe was talking about the mesiras nefesh of previous generations, when the gashmius was horrible and they still took the time to daven and learn while running their businesses. He goes on the contrast today's wealth of gashmius, when meat is no longer a luxury. The most memorable line would probably be when the Rebbe talks about today's (70's?) housewives wanting wall-to-wall carpeting, and how previous generations would wonder why we're covering up perfectly good planks of wood.

It may have been contected to some publication relating to America Iz Nisht Anderish (series?).
