Um... Most of Klal Yisroel that don Tefillin every weekday have smaller Tefillin than Lubavitchers - so I guess it's not the most relative question.

I just received a beautiful explanation for my problem with the פליטת הענן.

See likutay sichos 18,3. The Rebbe differentiates between ענני הכבוד and עננים סתם. It is clear there that he understands that it was the עננים סתם that were פולט, and it would seem that he understood that the ענני הכבוד were around all yidden even sinners without differentiation.

Isn't it in shulchan aruch? Why wouldn't "they"?
P.s. the reason I wrote "they" is because if you are asking about the lubavitcher that doesn't know about it, then you can ask about anyone that doesn't know about it, it has nothing to do with affiliation. On the other hand if you are asking if lubavitch has a mesora or something like that, I wonder why would you think that? Is there a community that doesn't say it?

I actually looked through it when the discussion came up earlier, and for some reason I came to the opposite conclusion but I don't remember why

My question is primarily for Lubavitchers as others, for example Rav Moshe, believe that it is no longer considered בחורבנן. I saw the letter from the Rebbe recently and curious if it’s actually done.

Anyone here ever made that bracha?

Had a kushya on this over shabbos.

Rashi in עקב י, ו-ז says that the yidden were scared of being attacked when the ענני הכבוד left. How does this shtim with what the Rebbe says that protection was the job of סתם עננים which never left?

(Suggestion: maybe thery feared that if the ענני הכבוד departed the protective ones would follow suit. ודוחק.)

Yes, though our gelila is very different than normal gelila for that reason.
