I presume you mean better or worst in terms of length of line. Middle of the day (now) is going to be longest. I would assume the line will start to shorten by 5:00-6:00.

I believe there are barriers that are 10 tefachim the entire way to the tziyun and at the tziyun for this reason. Years ago before these barriers were in place, kohanim either used specially-designed boxes (four walls with no top and bottom, with handles attached for the person inside to carry) that created a barrier around them, or surrounded by people holding hands. It’s possible not all kohanim rely on any of these things.

He just alluded to it by highlighting the immune system Judaism in general and Chabad in particular have in place to ensure remaining on track, which is an excellent point.
