The Orlando district attorney, Tallahassee department of business and professional regulation have been contacted . The case number is #102694.
Att: Rene Pichardo, senior inspector specialist at Florida department of business professional regulation , was truly concerned about this business practice, felt it was deffinitly a problem to be addressed , unfair and deceptive. She is in charge of enforcing Florida statute 501 . She has issued an Escalation ID CAS102694F1D2N8
And has instructed those that were affected to lodge an official complaint at www.myfloridalicense.com complainants should indicate what happened listing as much information as possible such as all the information above and what platform used to rent vacation home/management company name /rental agent/owner Information and unit number. Once these complaints are looked into they can proceed.

I don’t get it. Some scammer listed a bunch of houses on booking.com that they never planned on actually providing?

I saw 3 bedroom Airbnb's for $100/night a few months ago. I didn't check 5 bedrooms.

We paid under $200 a night for a 7 bedroom in Champions Gate this past Sukkos. When I checked for Pesach this year it was $500 a night for 5 rooms.

My mother had contacted the person a few months ago who everyone is now saying was doing this. He was officially offering good prices and was basically contacting the owners, offering 2k over what they got and then making 2k himself. She got wary of him then and got a nasty text message from him and decided to just book through Jeeves which is the big management company there.
