SCOTUS decision in Carson v. Makin may hike tuition too.

The Fed is all macho talk about raising rates currently. However, once "something breaks" they will have no choice but to reverse course. In the last few tightening cycles that point of "something breaks" came at a progressively lower point in the Fed funds rate (or whatever rate is being targeted). The reason is (ostensibly) due to the fact that the economic fundamentals are weaker and more volatile, and simply cannot support higher rates. The last line points to two major fundamental issues that hold back the economy from growing.

Tuition inflation coming.

👆🏼 once inflation hit there, it is no longer transitory, have you ever heard of a yeshiva, school or seminary lowering tuition?

(All jokes aside, that question is meaningless in the discussion. If prices rise and the plateau at at higher level, that isn't persistent inflation.

The key issues driving the current inflation, namely supply chain issues and a tight labor market, seem to still be around. As for rising energy prices, bad policies are still in place, so that might continue).

Has coffee gone up a lot lately?
My stock of Taster’s choice is pretty low and prices seem way higher than when I last bought.
