Nice of them to try to keep the cuts that simpletons get for YT (shoulder roast, brisket) to no or minimal increase.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Why is 3 bone flanken increasing more than 5 bone flanken, if it’s a meat shortage and not a labor cost etc.?

The same reason cheek meat is more expensive than chuck roast.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

No, but it's all priced as high as they think the consumer will tolerate.

@CountValentine here's the contribution of unions to the country.
Unions are a necessity.
Look at the unions as the police and big corporations as the criminals.  ;)

But we all know that the real criminals are politicians.

Feel like I should put in the Documentary The Money Masters in here.

Will not put in writing what I think of the other said reporting by him but on this topic there is a vastly better perceptive in the above documentary that this one agrees with on the "Federal" Reserve.

Guess in addiction to on film / dvd it is on online found on his Still Report website.

The fact is they are fast to raise the price and slow to lower the price.
Everyone has their own view why that is but doesn't change that fact.
Not complaining now...

In hindsight I'd prefer to owe my PPP money with interest, and get back 2019 prices.

30% has happened at least 3 times since 1900. I don't know that it qualifies for hyperinflation. Still a bad situation...

10-15% inflation a year in painful, but seeing Argentina's 210% in 2023 and current 20%/month, it's hard to envision hyperinflation as a likely reality here.
