IME there aren’t any Vanguard index funds that are relevant to (IRA) retail investors that aren’t available on TD.

At what transaction fee? And any advantage to bugging at td instead of going directly to vanguard?

I thought there were advisors like that out there.
I definitely know of one in Lakewood, though I believe he no longer takes clients of that nature (he primarily works on a different part of the investment industry).
On this episode of Kosher Money, they mentioned that Living Smarter Jewish is arranging a group of "vetted" financial/investment advisors to advise on an hourly basis.

Not quite official yet, but those are the likely limits for 2022.

Yes. Although it might take a couple of days to clear.

I'm looking into opening an account by Charles Schwab. I don't have a clue what I'm doing at the moment but do plan on eventually learning more over the next few years. Hopefully sooner than that.

2 questions.

1 I see when signing up theres a referral code thingy. Anybody have a referral code they would like to share with me? I only plan on opening a Roth IRA are there any referral bonuses for that?

2. Based on the wiki on reddits personalfinance subreddit. I'm going for a Schwab target Index fund. Will that lock me into something that I don't want if I eventually want to become more knowledgeable and start managing it myself?

There's 2 different types of Target index funds, managed and unmanaged? I thought the whole idea is that they manage it for you

I can send you a referral code, but unless your transferring in another account the limit for an IRA funding is below the bonus tiers

No - you can always sell what you have and buy other funds or stocks, etc.

Depends what features you want. Fidelity or Vanguard are very popular

I use TD Ameritrade. I don't believe there are any annual fees.
FYI - for solo-401K, my understanding is that contributions by the company reduce social security taxes. Contributions by employee do not.

That depends which investments you put the money in. Look at "expense ratio" for the percentage they charge.

This?
Small people talk about other people.
Average people talk about things
BIG PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IDEAS.
