PR piece with interesting details (@Dan are they correct about their economy seats being better than most widebody service across the pond?)

Will there be way to fly JetBlue to LHR and then connect to TLV on the same ticket?

Why in the world would anyone in their right mind want to do that? Connect at LHR? On different airlines?

Elal and JetBlue already interline. Very likely they'll eventually sell tickets together via LHR

The way there advertising it, maybe a great idea most comfortable flight to Israel, to be able to fly LY to LHR and then LHR JFK.

Because of an extra inch of legroom? Unlikely.

More comfortable then a nonstop flight?

If you want options with a stopover, you have an endless supply already.

Some people used to prefer a stop over a long non-stop. But the hassle involved in the stop needs to be taken into consideration. Especially with extra security on TLV flights...

It's been many years since I connected at LHR, and that was BA-BA. It is a huge airport, and if a terminal transfer is involved that's not fun!

I am not one to shun connections and have connected in IST (including the new one, which is much nicer than the old one, but is best done with a wheelchair assist requested), MAD, ZRH, GVA, FRA, WAW, SVO and YYZ. There are airports I would definitely avoid for connections, and LHR would probably be one of them unless there was a really compelling reason to connect there.
