Flights and Covid policies
« on: September 11, 2021, 08:35:26 PM »
I looked around and I didn't see a thread about this so this is a story.

Booked RT to BCN. No rules when booking on entry besides negative PCR.

Flight October 4, on Sept 6, the country change the rules that you will have to be vaccinated and have had to have the second shot 14 days before.

Now I'm not vaccinated and I was planning to do it, but even if I did do it (2 shots moderna) I would not have time to do this in time.

Had covid before pesach etc

Anyways Orbitz won't refund, flight on AA.

Should I waste my time calling American or do I have any other options? Chargeback? Trip cancellation insurance?

If they’d accept J&J vaccine, you have more than enough time.

That wasn't my plan. I was advised to get moderna, I'm not getting j&j just to make the flight.

But is this going to be their argument?

Called AA, agent told me to shove it

Any recourse on trip cancellation insurance?

I booked on chase Sapphire but that was converted to freedom flex to get another sapphire.

Don’t think it’ll be their argument, but it’s your choice and likely your only recourse if you want to travel.
