Actually, the main scene was the two other people involved, my Mechutan was just trying to save the situation, the [un]dress code just made it more memorable. He was in real danger IMHO.

Never denied it.

A sefira beard is different than a beard that was never cut. The ends of the hairs aren't tapered, and much "pokier"/itchy.
not just that, they tend to grow in any way due to lack of direction. Hopefully beard oil helps

The lack of direction is what caused it to be shaved in the first place

Lightning deal plus $5 off seems like a good deal for helping with the beard.

Repost also $2 more expensive now

For a sefirah beard you don't need all that stuff, just beard oil. For men, you don't need all that stuff either, just beard oil, comb, and regular conditioner (skip the shampoo).

+1

(skip the shampoo).

-1. IME, a shampoo that dries out your hair/beard, like certain tar-based dandruff shampoos, is very helpful.

Drying out your beard is better? Aren't the hairs dry in the first place?

Never trust a guy who oils and tars his beard with the same brush

Wait a second, I think I know what's going on here.

Could it be different people have different types of bears and hair? ???

I can't explain any science behind it, only that I get better results after cleaning off any residual oils (or dust/dirt caught in the oils) before using conditioner. Derech yeridah l'tzorech aliyah? Try it, see what it does for you.
