ok how come this is not working for me? what am i doing wrong?

i signed up to topguest and foursquare (got 50 for hilton and priority) and i checked in at airport and i dont see any points...i only see on foursquare that i got 5 points with them. - i dont see any way to connect my mileage to them.

what do i do?

If you are not actually in the vicinity of these places or using a device that the GPS is off you will not get points.

im only 25 mile from airport. i checked in over wifi, and GPS is enabled.

does it have to be an airport location?

What device are you using. For hotels I have been able to get points with out being inside. I have been as far as a mile

So I sent Topguest an email yesterday and this is the response I got today:

Hi JEWDA,

Sorry for the inconveniences you are having. We are currently in negotiations with United Miles to extend the program. Currently the promotion has been expired. We have since taken down the sign up website. We will keep you updated on the negotiations.

I check in to all of them from my phone laying in bed at home. Closest is 3.1 miles, furthest in 20.2 miles. All work (except obvi UA the last week).

Basically if you use Foursquare and check in when you are in one of the Hotels that are on the program you can get 50 points. You can also login online using m.foursquare.com and put in were you are and then check in to any of the hotels that are on the program.
