Does the Quest card allow for one carry-on baggage on a basic economy ticket? I know, it allows for two checked baggage, but can't find anything related to carry on. I booked a ticket using Quest, and confirmation email showed that I can check-in two bags, but there was no mention of carry-on. Yesterday, I received another email that I can bring a full-sized carry-on bag and a personal item on board (and this email had no mention of checked baggage). So, here I am asking the experts

I happen to have just linked my Clear to United two days ago. Probably what triggered it.

When does the $125 credit renew? The fact that the annual fee hit shows that it's a new year or not yet?

I just flew twice and tried getting my 4 free bags after I paid with my Quest card. On both reservations, I was only receiving 2 free only under the cardholder.

Anyone else have this??

My Family. 5 on the reservation. Was only expecting the 4 free as per card benefits.

I've done this a number of times. Always get 4 free. Unless there's something different you were doing.

Just had the same thing, outbound I got 4 bags, return only 2 showed, even check-in desk couldn't sort it out, in the end they just checked the bags for free, that was after 45 minutes of arguing and showing them on the chase website

I had the same. On my return I made sure to speak to a rep, the guy never even heard of the Quest card and after he spent a lot of time looking things up I finally showed him how to google the benefits on his computer and the he manually gave me the additional bags….

Really annoying as I ended getting to the Clear line after they closed and had to run straight to my flight…

Yes. I had zero free bags On my outbound flight but my return flight my wife and I each had 9 free bags!! On the outbound flights I just paid and applied for a refund online. Super easy and they refunded me.

The one time I didn’t get a refund is when I booked using mostly chase points and the remainder on my quest.

If I use the $125 United credit in the first 30 days after AF hits and then cancel the account is that a red flag for Chase?

Not worth it for $125 if there's any risk...
