I disagree.... Still a great deal you get to skip security and not have to arrive 1hr+ before your flight to deal with regular airport stuff... Also the seats are bigger then regular economy

main advantage. flown them out of BUR a number of times, you can arrive literally 5 minutes before your flight

Again, I'm not gonna spend five hours traveling to TX (or more to CA)... only to save 30 mins flying from an FBO. Even for $5. That's a net loss. Especially when I'm essentially buying a seat on a "commercial" plane (though even smaller) occupied by 10-20 other people, even if it's a seat with extra legroom.

If it were the entire plane, like the old private jet days, it'd be another story.

You're essentially spending $5 to fly this hour-long flight, a savings of about $50 over other commercial competitors -- and a savings of about $100 on a flight you can get any day of the week from the same airline -- and you save the hassle of a commercial airport. But this is a far cry from a typical "HOT" deal.

I don't see why you even think it's relevant for anyone outside those states and not planning to travel through there anyways. But for someone who's planning on traveling anyways or is in those states, it definitely is an experience worth it over the other options even though it's not private.

I’m not sure your private jet experience is the same as other people’s private jet experience. For some people this might be enough of a “luxury adventure” to be worth their time/money.

If we were talking about the old days of a private jet then it would have been an insane deal.... As it stands I get what you are saying however for someone who has been between Dallas and Houston a lot I know the advantage of flying out of a FBO It's a HUGE advantage...
