I served on three (maybe four) juries. They look at the evidence. If they were scared to serve they would not be on the jury.

Were any of them nearly as consequential to the entire country? Did any of them touch on social issues outside of the law? Again,

I think you assume most people are like you. It's very generous to give the benefit of the doubt, but I (and it seems many others here) have a lesser opinion of people's ability to remain uninfluenced by outside factors.

Jurors have admitted live on tv that they were influenced or scared.

I believe that if the verdict mandates jail, he goes straight to jail until sentencing.

I served on grand juries where a juror in deliberation called for everyone to vote a certain way as a SJ statement.
and other cases where jurors dared not ask questions that might be perceived as defending a socially despicable defendant

Nice of you to finally come around on this, but facts are that some people aren’t as pure as you going into that room.

Look the only reason we are hearing this is to try and discredit the verdict. This was worse than a blowout.
I will say these  >:( >:( >:( hypocrites need to be locked up. All this BS it was a fair trial just because the decision was in their favor.

Facts don’t care about a verdict.

I've seen enough of the criminal justice system to know that putting full faith in it is foolish. I'm not saying that Derek Chauvin is not guilty, but swallowing a verdict hook line and sinker, especially when there is a clear benefit to so many if he's guilty, is naïve at best and cruel at worst.

The verdict is a fact.
Is this to mean that its existence is a fact, or is this based on your novel definitions of fact and opinion?

No one is swallowing anything. Trying to discredit the verdict is self-serving.
