-Bought the stroller from JoggingStroller because they had lifetime returns and bought the prepaid return label for $1,
-Decided to go with the Uppa Baby based on DDF'ers reviews,
-Discovered they went out of business when I went online to return it,
-Called AMEX to do a chargeback on the Bugaboo and all the accessories it came with as I was promised "lifetime returns" and was unable to make a return.  Sent in documentation of lifetime return policy and that I had paid $1 extra for the prepaid return label,
-Won the chargeback and AMEX didn't even want the stuff back!

Sorry if I am totally missing something here..

A) Why did they Amex not want the stuff sent to them? Isn't that a regular requirement if they're reimbursing you?
B) Whats the whole $1 label about..?

Not always do they make you return the items that you are being reimbursed for.

How long after the purchase from joggingstroller did you initiate the chargeback with Amex?

unbelieveable Dan i dont know how you do it. i am waiting for the day for the post to come that you bought a rolls and you somehow got amex to pay for it ;D

I've never heard of Amex taking merchandise in case of a chargeback. The merchant might want the goods, but Amex? ???

why did u want to return it in the first place?what prompted you to return the item? as the rest
 was just a result of you wanting to return it?
