Prob about 7 months.
I thought that you only had 60 days to dispute charges.  Is that not true or was this an exception?
Is there any time restriction?

No time limit to dispute charges AFAIK.

I don't even know what 60 days limit you're talking about.

The other protections (i.e. return/loss) are 90 days.

YMMV.  AMEX is the most lenient when it comes to going over the dispute time limit.
Other banks can be sticklers to the dispute time limits.

Do you think sears will be around much longer? I need 4 new tires on my car.. If i get them there with a lifetime warranty and they close down, what would be my chances of fighting it with amex?
Would this be any diff then your case with the stroller?

Lesson of the day. I've never known of the 60 day limit because every time (most times?) I've disputed it's been >60 days and, as you said, AMEX never even mentioned it, let alone balked.
