So let’s pass laws that stop both sides from committing fraud!
It’s only one side that doesn’t wanna pass those laws 🙄
There is no widespread voter fraud. Passing a bill that claims you are trying to stop something that doesn't exists is just Kool-aid.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

So fraud is very possible but doesn’t exist and we should pass laws to stop it.
Makes sense to you?

There will always be fraud no matter what laws you pass.
Wide spread fraud that would effect the results is what has not been found. AKA: THE BIG LIE!!!

There is more evidence of voter fraud than there is of voter suppression

Any voter bill the R's pass is voter suppression.

Any voter bill the D's pass is voter fraud.

If that's your outlook, it's no wonder you "see" voter suppression everywhere you look.

Kinda at odds with the overall party message of gerrymandering bad.

The fact that Democrat's managed on convincing you that Republicans gerrymander and they don't is a sign of how well their propaganda machine (aka MSM) works. Both sides do when they can get away with it, and kvetch when the other side does.

Just happens to be that recently (2010, and to a lesser extent 2020) Republicans were in control of more states.

There is zero evidence of voter fraud. There are plenty of suppressing elements in the Georgia bill (it is true that there are also expansive elements)

Oh boy, where to begin. First of all, I didn't say what you're insinuating. I said D party messaging is that gerrymandering is bad, and therefore they have to contend with that when attempting their own gerrymandering. Second of all, while of course both sides it do, it's bad for democracy (no matter who is doing it), and it just so happens that the R's are currently gaining more advantage by gerrymandering (due to control of more states as you mentioned, as well as a more aggressive/coordinated effort at taking advantage of state control - see REDMAP), so the D's are fighting it - see HR1 - even as they continue to use it where they can.

Please choose one standard and stick to it. Either the standard is that the law might do x, or the standard is that the law does x.

You are saying that Republican laws theoretically could cause suppression, yet for voter fraud you want proof that it actually happened, not that the law makes it easier to happen.

Huh? Suppression is an action. Fraud is an effect. Something that inhibits voting is inherently suppression. Fraud is a result. It either happens or it doesn't.

And I said that messaging has not stopped then from using it until now, so why do you think it will stop them now?

Huh? Suppression is an action.

I'm not sure how you are defining suppression. There is no evidence that fewer people vote because of these laws.

It is just fact. You been living under a rock?
You really believe the R's would pass a bill to make it easier to vote?

'noun
noun: suppression
the action of suppressing something such as an activity or publication.'

A shot is fired even if it doesn't hit anybody. A bill that inhibits voting is suppressive even if everybody complies with the new laws and there is no net effect on voting.

By what definition is a law that enhances security while not impeding anyone's vote "suppresive"? If that's your definition of suppression, I have no problem supporting voter suppresion.

Whether or not it enhances security is irrelevant, don't try to obfuscate.

There are plenty of elements in the GA law that inhibit voting, make it suppressive. Nobody needs to be 100% impeded for it to be suppressive.
