Can you give a one word answer as to whether having the exact same scenario but instead of pepperoni pizza it would be a cup of urine (and not his own). Would that be same, worse or better?

This can be very true but the reason he chose this abuse was to target his religion, or just a known personally sensitive issue.

The kid wasn't picked on or punished because he was Jewish. He missed a weight training session. The consequences in some of these situations are chosen to inflict a high degree of discomfort to the individual being punished, and since he was Jewish, eating pork was picked, with the additional burden of punishment for the whole team if he didn't "take it like a man." The issue is the culture, not the anti-Semitism. The coaches pick on perceived weaknesses, and for this kid, his religion was an easy target. Very wrong, but not the core issue.

I read it in 15 different places & every site saying “Hebrew Israelite” had copy/pasted the entire article. Word for word. So who knows. But his religious beliefs are his religious beliefs regardless.
