I recently added an AU on my Amex green card, and lo and behold I receive an alert from my credit monitoring that Amex pulled my Experian credit report. I have since spoken to Amex a number of times, finally I got in touch we their credit bureau department and the indian guy told me that they are allowed to pull my credit for adding an AU. I mentioned this was never disclosed to me when I added the AU, he told me to send fax over my report with a letter stating that I was not informed about the hard pull. I have not done so yet, but I plan to since I don't need any extra pulls on report.
Has this happened to anyone else?
