Android Gmail App Right To Left Hebrew Typing

Hope someone can help.
Using Note 20 Ultra and recently the Gmail and Yahoo app won't allow right to left when typing Hebrew. Text, whatsapp, Google search, all work fine.
Interestingly in Gmail subject line I am getting right to left but not in the emial body field.
See attached image.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Can be easily done on a desktop. (Or using the desktop site)

A fix can be done on desktop? Or typing my emails on desktop will allow right to left?
I use Hebrew many times a day. I need it to work on my phone.

The latter.
It's possible there are apps that let you format it, have you googled?

It's the same by me, typing a massage anywhere else where it's right to left then c&p is an easy fix

Seems like potentially it's not a Gmail app issue but a Gboard keyboard issue.

Any non-Gboard (with Swiftkey keyboard for example) users with the same issue?

Confirmed it's not Gboard related.
