In light of the tragedy in Meiron and horrific tzoroh that has befallen Klal Yisroel, the following is the position of the Vaad Roshei Yeshiva of Torah Umesorah regarding Lag Ba’omer events in our schools:

Elementary Yeshivos
As talmidim do anticipate some sort of celebration of this day, planned events should not be cancelled. Instead, they ought to be modified, as follows:

There should be no dancing.
Any music and/or singing should be of a slow pace to induce hisorerus.

High Schools
If the planned event is of the type that can be postponed to a later date, such as an outing, then it should be postponed. Otherwise, the same guidelines as above should be implemented.
