Well, when asked what women should do, R' chaim kanievsky said that women should strengthen their tznius.

Somehow that always is the answer
FTFY
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

FTFY

Thank you. This is why the headline angered me.

R' Chaim's 'response to Meron tragedy' was not - women should do better in tznius.

He stated that this affected everyone and gave ideas to BOTH genders what can be done.

You don't trust his son?

You think he would lie what his father said?

Edited due to someone with a heart commenting that this isn't the thread to be so judging or critical. Suffice to say opinions vary...

Definitely not the thread for it, and probably shouldn't be posted at all. If you know, you know, and if you don't, you probably don't need to.

ETA: thank you

I remember one mashpia who called me on the phone and exclaimed, Chaim Ozer, mazal tov!

What for? I asked, taken aback.

You got a new father, he answered.
What the...?

Very well written.

Now is the time to just absorb the pain. When Hatzolah is doing CPR and bodies are piling up isnt the time to alleviate the agony by consoling yourself that you did something about this. Its not about you.

There were no names or pictures, we didnt know ages or community affiliations, there was no one to blame and no excuses, and we simply sat and held each others hand and cried.
