Thanks because sprint is pressuring to switch asap, one agent claimed by 5/13 and then once service is  interrupted there is 5 days to switch otherwise gets canceled..

Lies they tell you to try to coerce you to switch right there and then, hard to believe this is true.

They contracted a migration specialist company to do exactly that, pressure you to move over.

I know of a few 3G users that their phones are still up and running perfectly fine.

I am talking about Sprint. The network we were discussing. As an aside ATT followed through too. T-mobile has a few more weeks, and Verizon End of 2022. "The date will not be extended again." Their words not mine.

you're right:

“We are proceeding as planned with the orderly shutdown of our CDMA network beginning on March 31. As part of our shutdown process, we are migrating customers in some areas over the following 60 days to ensure they are supported and not left without connectivity, and the network will be completely turned off by no later than May 31.”

So, earlier reports were accurate in that the final cut-off is May 31. However, the transition begins as earlier stated on March 31, so it would appear that some will see the ramifications of the extension and others will not.

Same here sadly. Constant data dead zones across Brooklyn, NY - where Sprint never gave me issues for over a decade.
