Very, very, very big difference.
Even if there is a difference in the intention of posting it is still very, very, very insensitive.
The entire metzius of those sites is about shoving the most provocative headlines and images in your face for clicks. Here, there are a few threads which share that material. It's a miniscule portion of what goes on here, and it's very easy to avoid within the forum if you want.

I have heard that R' Mattisyahu said that watching videos of retzicha is bad for the neshama, similar to watching videos of giluy arayos. (Obviously in addition to the etzem issur there).
Why would these pictures have been shared? (Who took them?)
Think about what this 8-year-old boy must have seen
Why couldn't it be from what he saw at the levaya?
it appears that he is trying to mimic a tallis.
Don’t forget in Israeli levaya/burial is done in a Tallis without a coffin
.
This isn't a new phenomenon. I discovered that a very close relative of mine had died during childbirth from pre-whatsapp text messaging groups. The sharing of names, pictures, and videos is so beyond the pale it's crazy.
"Aya Biran, Amit’s sister, who also lives in Italy and is sitting by Eitan’s bedside, told Italian media that she found out about the tragedy when she received Whatsapps from friends “sharing in her sorrow.”...We only knew that Eitan was still alive when we saw that his name wasn’t on the list of fatalities."
Was thinking about this during laining this week.Anyone that sees a Sotah is yazir atzmo min hayayin, because whatever you see has an effect on you....
