It is a bit inaccurate, as it shows I have an open 8k balance on a card that is no where close to that. Also, they gave me a C in regards to credit pulls for having 3 in the past two years. Isn't that a bad way to grade?

CK is free.

They simply report the balance that is being reported to TU, so you may want to look into that if there is a discrepancy.

Amex reports to TU?

About the grades I think that 3 pulls in 2 years isn't C quality. More like A- or worst a B.

AmEx reports to all three bureaus.

So it's bad IYHO. But it's (obv) good from CK's perspective, as well as creditors.

CK uses TU as stated. Iquires can be bumped off TU. "bumpage" or "B*" would be the search word.

CK just dropped my score a whopping 44 points for closing a very old capital one credit card that only had a $200 CL

I don't really know how much attention I should be paying to CK score in first place, but this is weird

I would agree, only this card was my very first card, 5 months older then my next credit card, I guess by closing that my age of credit history lost 5 months ?!... still, I was surprised by such a big drop. Go figure
