Only issue is you have to book after registration.

Fare here means just the base amount? No government taxes? For example, if I have a $150+ threshold, this itinerary would not qualify?

Same here, and I got the miles even though I didn’t credit the flight to United (booked through and flew United from another account but had my ANA number on the ticket)
