How would America respond if Mexico starting bombing occupied Texas or occupied California?
Occupied?

I understand why you asked the question that way.

If a terrorist organization within the US attacked any city in the US we would respond by hunting them down.

Are you aware of how the rate of civilian casualties in American operations compares to the rate of civilian casualties in Israeli operations?

We are jumping from one area to another. I responded to Dan's question.

And if said terrorists were embedded amongst civilian population and the only way to get to them without risking Navy SEAL's lives involved collateral damage - what would you advocate?

This is a group discussion, Dan responded to a comment you made in response to me responding to you responding to Lurker, etc. I'm entitled to follow up on a statement you made that "America would hunt them down."

America has responded to terrorism within its borders and even attacks on other countries altogether. I'm asking if you know at what rate they kill civilians and how that compares to Israeli missions.

If it came down to putting Navy SEAL's in danger or killing innocent civilians the answer while unpleasant would be a no-brainer.

Well, the US was smart in dealing with the war, as they didn't allow it to remain an occupied territory, but rather paid and resettled Mexicans out of the territories won in the war.

I'm not saying that the option was ever available to the Israelis, but I doubt they ever even contemplated it.

The bottom line is that the entire territory was part of the Ottoman Empire for centuries. Neither the Arabs nor the Jews had sovereignty. So who is the occupier?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

No I don't.

This is according to Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilian_casualty_ratio

Keep in mind that no other situation is comparable to how Hamas has intentionally placed terror offices, equipment, and rocket launchers in schools, hospitals mosques, etc. On top of that, the ground battles have the IDF fighting against an enemy that isn't wearing fatigues and has no differentiation between the civilian population and the terrorists. Furthermore, there have been many instances of Hamas killing Palestinians (because that's what they do, they are murderous scum) and counting those civilian deaths by Israel.

And lest you think I'm exaggerating, I'm am UNDERexagerating. There was a documentary showing how Hamas was running a full-fledged military operation out of sections of a hospital, and there is loads of video and photo evidence of rockets being launched from schools and mosques with kids on site.

We just had them blame deaths caused by a rocket falling short on Israel.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.
