You are the first person that I can remember that stated that. When this has come up in the past members looked like pretzels trying to get around that. I believe most religions are racist.

Interested to see peope trying to avoid the belief that jews are the chosen people. In any case, I think that if the education is to respect every human being, that belief won't translate into any negative racist actions.

You are saying Judaism is not technically a race so it cant be racist. You might be technically correct. I believe the fact that Jews believe they are better in a certain specific way than others fits colloquial racism. This is not to say that every human deserves our respect and can achieve greatness and have a everlasting positive impact on the world.

The point I'm trying to make- don't mix between theological and practical.

Just because it's available to anyone (also a pretty contentious idea) doesn't mean it views everyone as equal on that level. Potentially equal maybe.

By most interpretations I have heard and have been taught, it is most definitely an internal characteristic. I think you will need to go pretty far to find a source that doesn't agree with the concept of neshama- the uniquely Jewish soul.
