Israel Ben Gurion Airport closure ? (!)

I see at least some flights are being rerouted to land in Cyprus (PS777) and officially departures where halted at least for some time (Who knows how long this will last) People at the airport where evacuated to shelters as of about8:30 pm Local time and where still there as of about an hour later.. Any more info would be appreciated.
People trying to leave to from Israel are desperate for any piece of info..,

Other flights such as EK2367 and 9U547 are making their rounds in the air near TLV seems like they are waiting for landing authorization.

B2 747 landing now, seems like most flights are actually landing in TLV now.
Check-in for ELAL flights from TLV to NYC departing tonight is open and planed as scheduled, if anyone has info regarding other airlines please post.
P.S. Seems like PS had enough with getting hit by a rocket.. so they're not taking any chances...

anyway to get back from IL to US before shavuos? Delta/united/elal/AA seem to have cancelled all flights until sunday night

I don't get it.
It's safe for domestic flights to land at TLV but not international?
And everything can take off from TLV?

What's the logic here? I figured they would just close TLV when need be.
