I just took a long road trip to a conference and along the way there were plenty of super chargers. Got to the hotel and there were 4 complimentary EV chargers to use as well. Welcome to the new world.

My neighbor bought a lottery ticket and won 10k. Welcome to the new world.

Under Bidens 2 trillion infrastructure bill they are looking to build 500K charging stations. This is the type of forward thinking that is needed.

Dunno which world you are living in because everyone here is talking about how chargers are all over the place and proliferating further. With plenty of subsidies. You seem to be the exception here or blinding yourself to reality.

Maybe look at the facts. If you live in few major population areas there are more chargers. Take CA for example which has more than a 1/3 of all the public chargers.

Maybe you should spend time trying to understand simple charts?

There are many places you have not been to so don't say EV chargers are all over the place. The infrastructure is currently not in place for EV chargers in most of the country.

You and others claim in 5 years more than 50% of car sales could be EV's. Do you have any idea how many public chargers you would need?

Even out of CA seem to be getting installed faster than EVs proliferating according to the arguments you have been making. But if you want to throw money at me I will be willing to catch it.

Two major hotel chains say how many charging stations they have. These are global numbers so expect it to worse in the US since we are way behind.
Hilton - 5k with 1k have charging stations
Marriott - 7k with 3k have charging stations
Your chances staying at those hotels in the US are way less than 50% of having a charging station.
So go right ahead and say they are everywhere and like each other's post like little sheep, but it doesn't change the facts.

What happens when I drive from CA to IL? Them having a 1/3 of the market and 1/3 of the charging units doesn't help me when I stop in some town in NE with zero charging units.

The least likely hotels to have chargers are in countries that EVs don't really exist and city downtowns where many hotels don't have on-site parking.

how many 48 stall chargers do you need in NE or even IL right now? A big part of the reason CA has so many more is because they have more stalls at a single location.
