That is one side. Then you have those that do not care if we pollute the whole world as long as they make a buck. This has been shown to be true over and over.
There are 2 logical extremes. You can disagree with either or both, but at least they make sense for the purpose they're trying to achieve.
1) Those who don't care about the environment and only care that there be more oil and gas.
2) Those who are more worried about the environment than prices.
Then you have the leftists/environmentalists who get the worst of both worlds, prices are high and we have more pollution from coal and oil as well as death and destruction thanks to the west's dependence on oil from our adversaries. Please explain to me what good came out of The EU reducing its own oil and gas production to be replaced with Russian oil and gas?
