These are great beginners smokers as they control the temperature digitally and have a self-feed wood system so they can run unattended for hours. Now is a great time to get one since you have the whole spring and summer to use them. With very little practice, you can smoke meat and chicken and cook some delicious food which would cost five times the price at any smokehouse.
I bought these both last summer but now got a hand-me-down professional smoker so I don't need these, and it's too late to return.
