They've been sure for months. NYT reported this week that not a single case in the world has been traced to outdoor spread. Even the CDC, one of the most stringent public health agencies in the world in regard to covid, has long said that there is no danger in short term exposure indoors (e.g. stores)

I love the argument that you should be able to choose what to do with your own body but the government can mandate what you should wear on your face.
