Hmm maybe because my battery is low? I'll plug in and try again.

Can't wait for gNex2, rumored launch in November.
Rumor has it that it may come with Key Lime Pie!
If they improve the camera and battery though it'll be golden.

Could be it needs to be charged to a minimum level even if plugged in (as if you unplug it and the battery dies during the update you could brick your phone)

That sounds plausible, but I can now verify that 5% 10% and 20% are not the minimum battery thresholds. I'll try again at 30.

UPDATE: Tried again at 45% battery, still nothin doing.

My battery was horrific. Every day by 5PM it was already dying with very minimal usage. Last week I finally gave in and ordered this extended battery for $27.77. The reviews claim it gives an additional 13% battery life, but for me its been much more. Last night my phone was still working at 4AM after being unplugged since 9AM. Never been happier with a cell phone accessory.

I see it actually went up to $43.55 now, so you may want to wait until it goes back to to what I paid.

just got a nexus with jb pre-installed. Is there any way of "select all" when viewing e-mails? If i get 10 at a time, it'd be nice not to manually select each one to mark as read or mass delete. my 2 year old thunderbolt could do that.

also - how do you search your e-mail?  Thanks.

The seller is mazel wireless  lol.  I just got the Sprint gnex with JB.  Loving it so far.  Any way to stop the Wi-Fi from idling?  Or whatever it's doing when the black x shows...

I saw somewhere online that you can change settings on your phone doing *#*#4636#*#* . So I tried it and it brought up a whole list of options. For instance you can set your preferred network type to: WCDMA preferred, GSM only, etc (check out the screenshot). What does this mean?? How can you have GSM on a CDMA phone? Also theres "turn on lte ramp'  and others.
My 3g is excruciatingly slow, I'm hoping this will help it  ??? Here's a screenshot
