I saw somewhere online that you can change settings on your phone doing *#*#4636#*#* . So I tried it and it brought up a whole list of options. For instance you can set your preferred network type to: WCDMA preferred, GSM only, etc (check out the screenshot). What does this mean?? How can you have GSM on a CDMA phone? Also theres "turn on lte ramp'  and others.
My 3g is excruciatingly slow, I'm hoping this will help it  ??? Here's a screenshot

Be VERY careful, it is usually not worth to touch any of those settings.

I chanced upon a promotion for a free extended 2100 mah battery for sero customers. I  called sprint telesales and they honored it for me. They did charge me $13 for shipping plus $1 tax. Not bad considering a samsung OEM extended battery is $49.99 . The rep had to clear it with her manager first.

Heres a link to order the extended battery online. Use promo code battery1
Some tips I picked up recently. If you long press the back button in the browser it will take you to history/bookmarks
Also, if you tap repeatedly the Android Version in About phone this will happen:
 tap it again and:

Cute. Similar Easter egg in Gingerbread (same method, different graphic).

My trusty photon has been having a few issues so I activated a Nexus I had in the house.

How do I set it that I only see contacts with phone numbers (no email contacts) in my dialer/contacts?

Is there a way to make the Nexus push mail through instead of checking every 15 minutes?
Also why doesn't the Nexus have visual Voicemail?

The phone works amazing, what a difference from my old Motorola Photon.
But I got faster speeds on my old phone, and better service.

Also I hope Google adds a button to end the call right on the notifications panel when you bring it down.

Is anyone using 4.2 yet? How's the keyboard? I use a regular keyboard and sometimes don't like the ones that function as swype and regular combined.  Don't want to update and then not be happy with the new keyboard.

My emails always comes though instantly

Its because its pure google so your supposed to use Google Voice for VV ..

Your definitively wrong about that one! As long as your not in the phone call screen you can swipe down and end call..

Thanks for your answers. I mus have totally missed seeing the end call button when swiping down.

My Gmail comes through automatically but my Yahoo account that's under regular Email can't be pushed through AFAIK, is that correct?

I like to keep things separate but I might just end up doing that. Thanks.
