Is there a way to make the Nexus push mail through instead of checking every 15 minutes?
Also why doesn't the Nexus have visual Voicemail?

The phone works amazing, what a difference from my old Motorola Photon.
But I got faster speeds on my old phone, and better service.

Also I hope Google adds a button to end the call right on the notifications panel when you bring it down.

Is anyone using 4.2 yet? How's the keyboard? I use a regular keyboard and sometimes don't like the ones that function as swype and regular combined.  Don't want to update and then not be happy with the new keyboard.
Visual voicemail is usually an app. You can always download youmail or similar.
The email app is not push, you can download the yahoo app.
Great idwea for having end, I would love such an option too.

Try CM10?
I actually have it on my SD but it would mean migrating all my 200+ apps (of which only 50 are used) over...

In buying spare batteries, is there a difference between the Verizon and Sprint Nexus? Will a battery made for Verizon work for the sprint version?

Anybody like the newest update 4.2.1? My thoughts: Main updates are
Lock screen, camera and notification bar.
Lock screen very good job. Gave the option of accessing messaging etc. Not sure why the hour numbers are in bold. Camera...nice as well.. still trying to figure out the newest option. Looks like a globe with a face in it. It seems to be another panorama function with the option to calibrate ..I like the full screen look though vs the old look. Notification bar...useless! Very nice they allow you to access Wi-Fi, bt, etc but why make it a shortcut? Why not just give the option to shut off/turn on like any widget you can download?! And the personal profile? Just in case I forget my name eh O0

I think it's a panorama with the option to go up and down, not just right and left. Only the end result is a globe projected on a flat sheet so it comes out a little warped near the top and bottom

My GNex is still running 4.1.1. Just checked and there is no update available for me yet. Any way to force an update?

Just noticed that MMS isn't working on my phone, sending or receiving. Anyone else have this? Or know what might be wrong?

MMS require different APN setting, check with your carrier.

A it says on the top, ODIN mode which is a flashing software for Samsung phones, I don't think it is normal unless you are doing some sort of key combo.
