The Play store says it's "incompatible with your Sprint Samsung Galaxy Nexus.". So before I put down $9.99 I just wanted to confirm if it worked for you.
I have an s3.And since when do you pay for apps?
Just checked, It also says it's incompatible with my s3. Don't worry. probably Sprint blacklisting it. Doesn't show up on Google Play in the phone app. Online it does.
I'm looking to pay someone who know how to root a Galaxy Nexus.I need someone who's well versed in it. Anyone know of anyone?
What will you gain by rooting?
I know a guy. Just asked him of he'd do it...
It's actually my father's phone. He's doing it because of the low volume (I know there's other remedies for that, but he pretty set on rooting it).Thanks. Will be in touch..
Care to elaborate? I tried an app called (I think) Volume+, didn't make a noticeable difference.
I noticed recently that my phone is getting a little sluggish. Sometimes when going to the home-screen it stays blank for like 5 seconds before I can see the apps. Is there a way to see what's causing that?

I've been experiencing this for the past few months as well. I'm afraid that the G-Nex is struggling to keep up with the newest Jelly Bean updates. After all, it is an ancient phone at this point (in tech years). I think I'll reluctantly have to grab the X when it comes out.
The only way to fix is by rooting?I also noticed that sometimes I have to hold the on button down for a few seconds for the screen to turn on.
Like the new Dial Pad auto complete on the Nexus. It's about time. And they did a good job with it. Also being able to use the volume key to take a photo. Super helpful.
Something I don't know about?
