I don't see the icon with the 2 arrows you are referring to. I've played around with my homescreen layout quite a bit. Any idea where in the settings I can find that?

and if you dont have that go to settings scroll down to personal click on accounts & sync and make sure syncing is turned on

Ah gotcha, you're referring to the sync button.

On my old Droid I always had sync turned off and push still worked automatically. I assumed I could do the same with my Nexus. I'll try that and report back.

Go to Settings>About Phone. Click on Android Version several times in a row. When something appears hold down on it for 4 seconds.

On my phone(s), you can add that 5-button bar as a widget, the same way you would add any other widget.

On my IHO CM7 Froyo it has that on the pulldown

Yes I have the bar he was referring to, just not where he was saying it was.

I have found that copy paste etc. is much easier holding the phone horizontally. Anyone else try this?

Anyone else have issues with the volume being too low? I found an app called Volume+ but it hasn't really helped.

Sounds to me like a hardware issue, no complaints at all with handset or speaker volume.

i actually do find my speaker volume to be a little low
