Flights wise, I saw 2 main options. The shortest was TLV to ADD, to MEZ in only 13 hours, and they had Saver economy availability. But they charge for my girly.
The other options all revolve around making my way to Qatar, and from there directly to MEZ.

Thought you were asking about MEZ. At MLE there is the risk, but it seems to be hit or miss.

Any anyhow, I enjoy a day of rain more than a day of sunshine if the weather isn't too cold.

If you're planning the vacation of a lifetime, I'd say splurge the $1k (if you can afford it) and go with the Hilton OWB option, especially if you'll actually be getting all those HH points like you describe. (obviously the weather issue might be a concern you should consider, but I know nothing about that)

As far as Kosher food is concerned, I doubt Hilton Gold will get you any Kosher breakfast in SEZ, and if they do it'll be an airline meal...

You're making good point with the hit or miss. This is a good site summarizing ppls weather comments for each month. Seems that most rains are limited in time, but I hear your point.

Could s/o transfer through Qatar only using an Israeli passport? Or would they string you up?

Not planning on it! Going to the consulate in a few days, and it should take 2-3 weeks.

Getting Kosher has been tough in Seychelles since the Kosher Delight branch there closed down in 09'.

I was there in "rainy season" and the longest it rained for was maaaaaybe 25 minutes. Yeah, it won't be as spectacularly sunny as it is during the dry season on some days, but it's hardly a reason to pay twice the price (if you're not using miles) or suffer through finding availability (if you are).

I was there in August for 4 days and did not see the sun for more than one hour a day.
