With a pool is about $800.

A pretty well connected Travel Agent who books a lot of 5 Star properties in the Maldives and Bora Bora told me that if you are traveling during low season, it is quite acceptable to find the lowest rate online and then ask them for a nice upgrade/free transfers etc. He said some will even negotiate lower rates.

Obviously, don't let them know in the beginning that you plan on spending almost no $$ while at the resort

Check in closes 60 before departure for all classes.

Online check in is available until 2 hours prior to departure.

We didn't actually focus on the KSML because we took your suggestion of asking them to heat up the chinese food we brought. Was amazing.

But it definitely wasn't bad, all things considered. (Not pictured, unfortunately: hot meal of chicken, vegetables, and scalloped potatoes.)
