According to Israeli media, Health Minister announced that the Covid Green Pass, the entry permit for recovered and vaccinated individuals into establishments and places, and the Purple standard for business. This means that you no longer have to show a QR code when dining indoors or going to events.

Entry restrictions, however, will continue to be in place and a person who is vaccinated outside of Israeli will have to go through a special serological test to avoid the 10-14 day quarantine.

So while the rest of the western world reopens to tourists, Israel remains closed.

Once again shooting themselves in the foot and all the de-escalation was the nail in the tourism coffin. Shame.

from what I've been told by close family members and associates, there are services that will meet you at the airport for a blood draw and guarantee results in 5 hours for 400 NIS
