IME syncing issues are generally caused by either low space or problems with google processes. First make sure background data is on, next reboot the phone. If you are still experiencing problems try freeing up space and try again. If you're still having problems try clearing data/cache for the market and gmail.com plus other google apps. If you're still having issues, return your phone. :-):-):-)
