The album will be a compilation of some original songs and some old songs. This particular song "Teshuva" I meant to cover it for many years and AB Rotenberg was kind enough to let me use his song. A cover is not a sequel rather it is my interpretation of the original song. The song is meant to give the listner the pleasure of hearing the song from a different perspective. Doomshtien is represented by the Tenor sax in the three stages before teshuva during teshuva and after teshuva. There is musical brilliance involved in the orchestration of this song. Of the next two songs to come out, one will be original and one will be the first song of the set
which is rather obscure.
I cant sell an album that is all knockoffs. So all the songs are either original or interesting interpretations of songs that I admit are not my own. The album is met to promote my carreer as a live singer but it is mainly a work of art meant to give pleasure to the listener
To hear me covering normal chasuna hits live with absolutely no effects or "corrections" made afterwards you can see this video of me with my Yeshivish style band
or hear this one of me with my modern jazz band L.Y.D.
