Could’ve sworn I read someplace that chase doesn’t like when ppl upgrade to CSR and then downgrade just a few short months later.

It actually makes sense that it would be a problem because someone can upgrade to reserve — use $300 travel credit (+ DoorDash credit) and associated benefits for 1 month, and then downgrade back down. This way only pay $45 for prorated annual fee but actually come out a minimum $255 ahead because of travel credit.

Right or wrong?

I had two old free sapphire cards that were downgrades from my previous reserve and preferred cards.
I canceled both of them today since I don't need them or use them, and I wanted to apply for the 100k offer.

How long do I need to wait now before I can apply and get approved for the sapphire preferred?
