From past experience, what time do these offers usually end?  5pm EST, 11:59pm EST or totally random anytime of the day?

I only downgraded to Freedom yesterday so I want to wait as long as possible.

Make sure to unfreeze your credit before applying.

Its not a “one size fits all” system everyone system downgrade is different and the timing will be different alswell- a chase rep

My data point is that I downgraded my Reserve to a Freedom Flex on Monday at about 4:30 PM. Just applied at about 1:15 on Wednesday and got pending. However, I know they pulled my credit because I got an immediate notification from the Experian app that there was a credit pull from Chase. So presumably, I just need to reallocate some existing credit as I have a bunch of Chase cards open with a lot of total credit. On hold with Chase reconsideration now.

Updating this. I did just have to move some credit over from a different card and I was approved. So downgraded Reserve on 10/4 at about 4:30 and applied and was approved about 1:15 on 10/6.

Are all numbers to contact Chase credit card services not working? I can't get through to a single number. They all say "Your call cannot be completed as dialed". I even dialed the banking number, which worked and promoted me to enter debit card number. When i ended cc number, it offered to transfer me to card services. When i accepted offer, it transferred me, and I got same "Your call cannot be completed as dialed" message.

This was prob asked a zillion times but i just applied and got a message that I wasn’t approved and will be notified in 1-7 biz days.

Could it be that the reason is because I downgraded within the past 24hrs?

If yes, did they do a hard pull?
