Is there any point in doing a 2 or 3BM tomorrow (because Chase will be pulling my credit) or better to wait around for higher bonus offers for additional credit cards? Are there any great deals out there now?  I already have a Marriott, Ink, Freedom and hopefully this one.

I applied for the preferred 2 days ago. Then Chase rejected it and I called up and they told me because I have a sapphire now. But I have is a regular Sapphire not preferred or reserved. Is the rule of not having two sapphires applied to a regular Sapphire card that's not reserved or preferred and then to have a preferred? And if the rules like that if I downgrade now to freedom unlimited can I call back in a few days  for consideration

Can an auto rejected app due to having sapphire (I'd downgraded CSR and CSP 5 minutes prior, PC reflected online) be reconned, or waste of time?
Can I reapply a day or two later after auto rejection, or is the first considered a legitimate application and denial?

A dumb but interesting DP: rep didn't want to change CSP with CL under 5k to Freedom legacy card, because she claimed there was no non Signature option for that product. (The accuracy of such a claim seems dubious, but who am I to say?) Had no problem changing it to Freedom Unlimited.
