I have the CSR which I really like. Thinking of downgrading to apply for CSP ad 100K. I'm wondering how soon after getting the CSP bonus can I upgrade the card to CSR? Will Chase allow that? Haven't heard of them clawing back points like Amex but wanted to confirm with those more knowledgeable.

I just did this. Downgraded to a freedom, applied for preferred. Got the bonus, and then upgraded the freedom, back to reserve

What happens with already booked travel if I downgrade my CSR to Freedom? I'm guessing the Freedom will have the old CSR number but then I'll get hit with fx fees when the balance on airbnbs, car, etc is charged on international fees. Any was to work around this?

When does the DoorDash $60 credit reset on the reserve? I used it last July - the chase rep said it will reset in DoorDash 1 year from date I opened the DoorDash account. Is this true or it’s a calendar year?
I would quickly spend before downgrading my reserve to get this card

OK so take this as you will FWIW...
I had applied for and received CSR in May 17, with the points posting to my account in the statement date which closed July 11, 2017. Figuring I have nothing to lose as m app will just be denied if not, I applied for CSP (after downgrading my CSR to a freedom flex) today, and was in fact denied. However since there was no reason given I wanted to make sure it was because of the 48 months so I called Chase cust service. They confirmed that my app was denied for that reason, and the guy suggested that I apply the first week in August. I asked him if this offer would still be around in August and he said "Yes, this offer is now the permanent offer for CSP".

(I'd handicap the odds of that being true at >1%, but hey....)
I would like to know if someone knowledgeable (@Dan) could tell me though, is that true usually that I need to wait till the beginning of the next month, or should I be able to apply anytime after July 11? Appreciate the help, thanks.

No chance it's permanent. You can apply on 7/11, if it's still around.

Yes that works. I did it right before the 48 month rule went into effect.

I applied for the card, and received a letter in the mail that I need to call the fraud department with the number in the letter since they want to confirm its me. I waited on hold for an hr yesterday and an hr today and so far I haven't been able to get through to anyone. Any other numbers I can call?

Maybe try the lending department (888-609-7805) and they should transfer you.
