Anyone ever have luck in getting the preferred card upgraded to a reserve within first year of card being opened? I called a few times and they are telling me I cant get a product change to a card with a higher annual fee within first year....

I called and they had no info and said there is nothing to reconsider as no decision was made yet...

The banker told me he cant submit the app due to the active saphire, so I used DD link.
Now lets hope I don't get shut down.

When i log in to the chase app it says at the bottom

"Your already approved for the sapphire preferred card as of 8/19"

Does that mean that if I click there to apply they won't pull my credit for it? (Since I'm already approved) or they will still make a hard pull?

DW keeps getting rejected for this card because of an "open" Sapphire card. This card was actually closed in January of 2018. She called multiple times and they acknowledge the issue and promise to fix it on their end. We even received a letter stating the issue was fixed and she can apply now, but the same issue keeps coming up when she applies. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this fixed?
